Belvedere Zoo
Very nice park with a good variety of animals. I didn’t see the hippo, but most animals were present. Some of them seemed a bit tired, and I think the enclosures could be better maintained, but overall it was a pleasant visit.
Directions aren't enough you easily get lost and must ask people to find animals you want to see or use Google maps, just zoom in. 1/3 caged and pools are empty. Didn't see any hippos or crocodiles. The zoo in Tunis has a lot of animals, maybe 30+ types, including many large mammals that are fun to watch. Peacocks wander the grounds. The price is good as well. My only complaint is that the cages are quite small and the bars make it hard to take pictures.
