Monument des Martyrs
This is really a central point in Sousse. As well as being historically important, it is located near the port and shops, and medina, and mosque etc etc. Find this place and you will find most of what's on offer in Sousse.
A work by Heidi Selmi which was originally to honour those that lost their life in WW2. It is now seen as a memorial to also include all those that lost their lives in the struggle for Tunisia independence.
Monument commemorating those who laid down their lives in the Second World War. Next to the south side of the medina walls.
